This last assignment is proving to be a little challenging, not sure if I am lacking in inspiration or time.

Anita, same here. Have not had the time, energy and the inspiration. I will try to focus on it tomorrow, Sunday, my free day.
Hope you can overcome this one.
      Cheers,
      Ana

    Haha, yes, the sitting one.

As for the “gymnastics bars”… good call.

  • Ben Jamieson posted on the forum topic Share your Shots in the group Wedding Photography:   6 months ago · View

Did you mean the sitting one, not the last one? (For the processing?)

One final thing – you should really clone out the weird gymnastics bars that are bizarrely rearing up out of the ocean in the second to last one… they really don’t belong there!

Hey, thanks man. It’s always nice to get critique from someone far more experienced :) I actually really love the processing on the last one. Our tastes are usually quite similar, but I guess this is one time where they divulge :) And yeah, I strapped my monolights to two of the “tent” poles surrounding [...]

    Ash,

Nice work! Not a huge fan of the processing on the ‘sitting’ shot, but that’s just me.

is that your big lights in the last one?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else out there is using Apple’s recently upgraded Aperture 3, and how its working out for you. My own experience has not been without its issues. after my initial upgrade (of a 30,000+ image library) I found using Aperture in 64bit mode to be impossible, with numerous crashes per [...]

Aperture 3 is so much more friendly than LIghtroom!
Going from that to flickr to Shoot the Islands was a breeze!

Don’t know if you’re using it or not, but you should check out the Flickr Plugin by http://www.connectedflow.com/

Far more powerful than the one built in to Aperture 3, which only allows you to sync a complete album.

Yes, it goes to a new set! I had to move them and then delete the one it created.
        Will check it out. Thanks!

Would love to hear your thoughts on this one.
I still need to know how to manipulate not only my camera settings
but also the editing software (changed now from Lightroom to Aperture 3: thanks for the heads-up, Ben).

    Here are the specifics:
    ISO 200, 80mm, F/6.3, 1/640 & about 2 glasses of wine.
