James,
On Aperture I adjusted a bit the Exposure and enhanced a bit the vibrancy and others….but not much. The picture to start with was well balanced already.
The face, on the other hand, I Dodged it because the hat had it darker. The one thing I don’t know how to change is that I would like to take the plastic stool out of there.
Sometimes it is hard to have it all in order: either I took the picture or I moved things around and I opted for the picture. The moment itself was very spontaneous: my daughter took her to my closet and let her pick up what she wanted. She came out like this (priceless!!)
Thank you very much for your thoughts: it is much appreciated.
Cheers,

I would love to hear your comments about the picture I posted (Portraits & People group).
Ann
It’s an excellent portrait, the lighting is great all around but particularly on the face under the hat.

Have been sick, my iphone fell in my coffee (can’t facebook, tweet or check Shoot the Islands), have not had time to take one picture in days and missed the Shadow assignment! Ah…..this sucks! Hopefully will catch up soon. Cheers.

Anita, same here. Have not had the time, energy and the inspiration. I will try to focus on it tomorrow, Sunday, my free day.
Hope you can overcome this one.
Cheers,

Yes, it goes to a new set! I had to move them and then delete the one it created.
Will check it out. Thanks! In reply to - Ana Elisa B.N. Wassitsch posted an update: Aperture 3 is so much more friendly than LIghtroom! Going from that to flickr to Shoot the Islands was a breeze! · View -

Going from that to flickr to Shoot the Islands was a breeze!Don’t know if you’re using it or not, but you should check out the Flickr Plugin by http://www.connectedflow.com/
Far more powerful than the one built in to Aperture 3, which only allows you to sync a complete album.
